These are very pleasant photographs Tegan! i think the sepia tone is very effective to the documentary theme, if you go down this road you should defiantly use this tonal quality
The 2nd image is really effective, i think unfocused backdrop works well giving a almost spooky feel to the whole image, especially how the figure in the background has become thinned out giving a skeletal outline.
