Interesting Artist - Richard Avedon

I found these images whilst searching through other artists and they belong to an artist called Richard Avedon.  I found him to be a true inspiration to people who want to study portrait photography, I love how he can capture many different moments and feelings within one photo.

    I love the way he uses black and white on his photos and keeps it very simple with a plain white back drop. I also love the use of the models as they are not the typical supermodel. Are you interested in studio work? How will you use these photo's to create your own?

    I am interested in studio work, i want to capture images of people that will catch everyone's attention, I want to make photos that will capture the moment and the feeling but i am not sure how to do that.. any ideas?
